additional artists OR assistants $400 per artist (additional artist or assistant needed for every 5 guests or if there are expedited timelines)
additional hours of travel $75 per hour per artist
how many people can you do?
so long we have the room, time, & funding to work- the limit does not exist!
✨ bridal appointments are 90 minutes
✨ guest appointments are 45 minutes
✨ additional guests are $185 per person
✨ we need a 2nd artist ($400) for every 5 guests
✨ each additional artist has a 4 person minimum/6 person maximum
✨ bridal party size + ceremony time may mean an extra early start time is required. brides can add on additional artists to shorten timelines, but the minimum $ equivalent of 4 services per artist is required.
can I have my trial first?
you can, but remember the only thing that holds your date is paying the retainer & signing your contract! so you do run the risk of someone booking your date before you.
do you service same sex weddings?
of course! we can customize your services & your timeline based on your personal choices. a few questions I’ll need to know the answers to upon inquiry are-

will you be seeing each other before ceremony/first look?

do you travel?
all over! though based in the Hudson Valley, I’ve worked weddings all over NY, PA, NJ, CT, & into MA.
up to 4hrs round trip travel is included in each booking. Additional travel is $75 per hour per artist.
locations 2 hrs or more away require overnight accommodations.

How I started
When I was 13 years old, I looked up my first makeup tutorial on YouTube. From there, it was only a matter of time (6 years, to be exact…)
Youtube tutorials turned into beauty school, where I worked in various spas and with different artists, invested in my education, began working weddings on my own, and eventually, founded Blackthorn Bridal.
Who are my brides?
I help brides who don’t feel comfortable wearing a lot of makeup still look & feel gorgeous on their wedding days- because beauty is personal taste, not copy & paste!
My brides are a blend of “they don’t wear makeup & don’t want to look like they’re wearing makeup” to “I love the look of makeup, but not the feel, & can’t find someone who understands what I mean!”
Why bridal?
I love bridal not just because of the makeup, but because of the significance. so much time, effort, & love goes into planning a wedding, even for the most low-key events. I love giving my brides a few moments of peace on such an important day. I love knowing she’s walking down the aisle at her most confident!
